Q:can it be used to patiemts who are bed ridden and need to be given feeds a 45 defree angle
A:We are using this for my father of 84 yrs. It is convenient to lie down when sleeping. When eating or drinking it can be made at 45Deg or more. Ensure to have cot support backside to keep it firm.

Q:To give the extra cushion to patient can this placed behind the bed(bed made out of cotton)? can it withstand the weight?
A:No,as I used it I understood that something very heavy had to be placed at the top of the back balanced rod it should be placed in such a manner that it rests on the wooden back.
