A:No it's not because it increases only melatonin in the body which is a hormone responsible for sound sleep if you are suffering from insomnia then it would not help you in getting instant sleep

A:upto 10mg is safe. try taking 3mg for a month if u still dont fell asleep try buying a 10mg version this is 3mg. And if u cant fell sleep from 10mg then your problem is not melatonin deficiency.
