The book contains a lot of printing mistakes(Numerical Expressions),if not referred to another book u'll be totally in mess.
Apart from that concepts are provided in lucid way,easy to understand at college level.
If possible go for DS kumar,Pk nag or Cengel.

I think its apt for students to refer for their university exams. It have a wide variety of solved problems. But it may not be enough for building a solid base in the subject.

PROS:
1. Large number of solved problems.
2. Explanations in simple words, easy to understand.
3. Good print quality.
4. One of the best books for referring in the University exams.

CONS:
1. In-depth details are not there.
2. GATE based questions could also have been included after every chapter.

Excellent book with numerous examples from various Indian universities, GATE etc. Little printing mistakes in mathematical deductions.Better than other crap books that blows out mind by stupid vectorial expressions. Multicolour concentric spheres that make numericals easy, like other books that only explains without pictures. One can go for it by closing their eyes. Great service by Flipkart.
