if u r preparing for gate n want to make concepts clear, go for nag
bt if u want to score more in univ exams thn go for r k Rajput..derivations r nicely done bt not good enough for gate.
both books have lots of numerical examples

Great product

I use to buy a lot of Stuff (especially books) from other sites also and got to know one thing...FLIPKART is best among them, in many ways like the delivery time, the delivery charge is less, free delivery above 500, condition od package and tracking of package etc....
And for the book...i have studied it during my grad. It is a great book...concepts clearer , simple language , number of problems given....it is a must buy from FLIPKART

Heat & Mass Transfer - PK Nag

I ordered this book from Flipkart since I had already followed the same in my engineering. As I know, the book is an excellent piece written by Mr. PK Nag, brilliantly compiled to make you understand the fundamentals of Heat & Mass Transfer. Loved the section of heat Exchanger, and The Modes of Heat Transfer. Kudos to Flipkart for superb dispatch and delivery schedules.

Excellent book. Well bound. No hard feelings. Some topic may be hard to derive, as the author has directly given the final expression. Nice blend of theory, backed up with sufficient solved examples. One can find 35-40 examples in each chapter. Anyone can score very well by following this book ONLY. Replaced it twice from Flipkart due to bad printing and binding,but the final one is very good in every aspects.

The best heat transfer book by an Indian author that approaches the subject conceptually.There are passages which may get a bit tough for an average student because the author has not over simplified things.The explanations are lucid and there is a nice flow of theory.Problems are of good standard and are helpful for competitive preparation.The objectives at the end of the chapter are a jewel in the crown.A must buy for someone who wants in the subject,conceptually as well as for problem solv...
