Gwalior is situated in the north direction of the state of Madhya Pradesh. Gwalior has been the capital of the Gurjara Pratihara dynasty, Tomar and Baghel Kachhwahs. Ancient signs, monuments, forts, and palaces testifying history still stand as they are today. By the fifth century, there was a very famous singing school in the city of Gwalior in which Tansen attended. It includes history from Goparashtra to Gwalior, Tomar dynasty to Scindia dynasty.
