Hassle Free. Awesome DRIVE!!!
I needed to replace my Internal HDD of My DELL XPS, I was looking only for a 7200 RPM Drive. (currently the Laptop had seagate 7200 rpm drive) And since Seagate didnt sell any 7200 RPM drive with higher capacity currently, i was dissapointed.
But to my amazement, I came through this drive HGST( A Western digital company), So I had faith. VERY GOOD Delivery (2 days).
I also checked the SMART status and warranty of this drive. Completely NEW and warranty of 3 years.. Awesome!!!!

Very Good Product
This is an excellent Hard Drive to switch over too. The SATA 6Gb/s speed is easily recognizable. Heats up lesser than other hard drives in this range. Copy speeds significantly higher.

Good Drive
Works well, fast and not noisy. However ever since I replaced my macbook pro hHD with this one, it started overheating all the time. Don't know if the two are connected in any way.

Not recommended at all
Using after 8 months hard disk failed. Suddenly speed is slow down. I backup my data 60GB in 72 hour. After complete format my problem not solve i completely unsetisefy i think not buy anyone to this chip product 1tb hitachi hard disk.

Very poor
HGST 1TB 7200RPM Laptop Hard Disk finally quit on me without any warning. All data lost.It is still under three year warranty. Raised Return Material Authorisation. Sent to Drop off location which could not enter it into system. Finally collected and sent it to Flextronics Ltd Bangalore. Shipment received byt not updated on website till date. Talked to their technical support who assured that it would take time but eventually shipment would be entered in their system and I would get replacem...

Cheapest 7200 RPM 2.5 Inch drive.
Cheapest but not bad at all , I was using the same HDD in my laptop since 2007,
No major problem till now , showing only 0.3 % error in Hard Disk Sentinel Software.
But it vibrates a lot , you will want to mount it on a anti vibration washer/pads.
Hope this one lasts that long too.
