Directed by A. R. Murugadoss, co-produced by Twinkle Khanna and starring 2-time Filmfare Award-winner Akshay Kumar, Filmfare Award-winner Sonakshi Sinha and desi icon Govinda, Holiday is a Hindi romantic action-thriller film that’s based on the Tamil film Thuppakki which featured Vijay in the leading role. The storyline of this gripping flick follows Captain Virat Bakshi, a member of the Defense Intelligence Agency, who finds out about a vicious, large-scale terrorist plan on Mumbai after he gets a hold of the criminal responsible for a terrible bomb blast. Virat must now somehow find a way to locate the mastermind behind the impending terrorist attack which may claim the lives of countless innocent people.
