STRONG SMOKE FLAVOR! probably, maple wood is used for smoking. Gives the feel of barbeque meat. A perfect balance of sour and salt unlike other pickles. The meat pieces are of good size. I always stock sausage, ham, bacon in my pantry, this is a new addition. A value for money product. Will keep buying !
