2 additional buttons are useful if you map for any task that you perform repeatedly.
Like for Copy and Paste, or opening any specific software. But for that you need to remap it's functionality

Edit:- After 4 months of usage, it's working fine. It consumes a lot of batteries if you use it daily around 4-5 hrs. In 4 months it took 3 AA batteries.
