‘Hriday Basen Shri Ram’ begins with the birth of Lord Shri Ram. Lord Narayan himself takes the birth to get earth free of demons and while walking with the sage Vishwamitra, gets rid of Tadka, Subahu, Marichi. After breaking the bow at Janakpuri, Shri Ram married with Siya and comes back to Ayodhya with the procession. King Dasharatha was preparing for the coronation of Lord Shri Ram, but according to the promise given to Kaikeyi, he has to obey Kaikeyi and eventually Lord Shri Ram, Sita and Lakshmana together they leave for exile. Bharat, saddened by the separation of the Lord, comes to Chitrakoot to meet Lord Shri Ram. Bharat returns from Chitrakoot and renounces his throne and establishes the foot-paduka of Lord Shri Ram there. Shurnapaka, being fascinated by Shri Ram, changes form and comes to meet him but Lakshmana gets angry and cuts off his nose. The Khar-Dushan gets killed by the hands of Lord Shri Ram. Ravana kidnaps Mother Sita and on the way he encounters Jatayu. Hanuman ji after hearing words of Shri Jamwant, proceeds to Lanka in search of Mother Sita. Afraid of Lord Shri Ram, the ocean ultimately appears and tells that Nal-Nil has such power that they can build a bridge over the ocean with stone. Kumbhakarna got killed by Shri Ram and Meghnad by Lakshmana. In the end Ravana himself decides to go to war. After a fierce battle, Ravana killed by the hands of Lord Rama. After the coronation of Shri Ram, all the Vanar depart for their respective kingdoms.
