HTC Desire 820 (Santorini White, 16 GB)  (2 GB RAM)

Been using Windows mobile for last 2 years and finally decided to shift to Android, mainly because the specs, camera and screen size I wanted weren't available at a decent price point in Windows. Was blown away by the looks of the HTC Desire 816 and furthermore by the Desire 820. After lot of self debate decided to buy the HTC Desire 820. Been using it for a few days now.

First Impressions: It looks amazing! Everyone will compliment you on the looks. Very sleek and the dual colours look awe...

Only problem is heating and battery life. If you are not concerned about battery, don't give a thought and buy it.

Hello friends i buy this phone on 19 nov and after using this phone for 7 days i think its time to tell others about this phone. I buy this phone on very first day after launch after eagerly waiting to get available on flipcart by wsretail bt it was not available so i buy phone from e zone at 24990.
Now coming to this phone it is best phone till 30000 no other phone is octa core with 2gb ram and 64 bit processor. In terms of performance it totaly upgraded phone very smoth performance buisnes...

I was very excited when I was waiting for the mobile to get delivered. Because of the attractive features of HTC 820 and Offer Price 21,143. Once I received, day by day I was surprised to know the fact when I using. (Heartbroken).

Bad things are:

1. Too much of heating problem when in normal use.
2. Too much heat after charging mobile( Not used while charging)

The best part of the phone is sheer quality. in my home, we have around 6-7 smartphones, Samsungs, Sony's, Google Nexus, nokia etc- the signal is weak for airtel and vodafone, and the calls will drop frequently for all the mentioned handsets-

Not with this HTC cell- i can make business calls via phone and move inside the house simultaneously- tremendous feeling.

first of all i want to say that don't believe all those people out there who are saying this set has bad battery backup
in first 1 week or max 1 and half week its battery drains very quickly but after this time period, this gives decent battery backup i am using it for about one month and i get 1 full day with moderate to little heavy usage easily.
if u are facing battery issues do following steps
1. drain your battery to 0 percent
2. now switch off your set and charge it in switch off mode...

Purchased thus phone as it is not made in China. Awesome camera, great performance. Only issue is battery backup. It lasts only a day, but it could be because i use it for gaming, gprs for traffic managment, phone and youtube for 3-4 hours a day. Also heats up a little while using internet and gaming. But still a decent phone. I am happy since last year.
