There are variable Reviews, to be very Frank the correct product was delivered,
May be they can improve the packaging of the product, god's grace nothing happened to the product as the product itself had some good package to save it from small damages, but never know how the courier company handles it.
If packing was good i would have given 5 stars.
The ram works great, but it was optional,
Any day as SSD upgrade is better than a ram upgrade.
Both together will make the most of the laptop.

Wonderful
The clock frequency is shown as 600+ hz only, its working in dual channel mode along with my current chip, also the manufacturer is shown as "Nanya technology" not sure what that means, anyway satisfied with the purchase, gave a new life to my old laptop with only 2gigs of ram, 6gb total made it noticeably faster. Worth the small amount spend on upgrade.

A:Just download a software CPU-Z in your laptop and install it. Then go to memory section in that software where all the RAM details of host device are clearly mentioned. Hope you get it. Thanks

A:It should ideally work without any problems as it has DDR3 RAM. But as HP G62 was launched way back, I would suggest you to open the back panel and check if there's extra Slot available for new RAM.
