If you want a branded genuine DDR3 ram, then buy this. I bought 2 of these, and performs as it should be. The clock speed is compatible with lower speeds.

Better go for a lower version DDR3..

A:Yes, it must work if the motherboard has the capability to choose the timing clock of 1333mhz. This ram has clock for 1333 1600 1800 mhz, so must be lowered to 1333mhz. Not sure about 1000mhz.
