I have this modem, it's too difficult to connect to the internet. Only advanced users are able to connect to internet using some bash scripts. i made it working on my Ubuntu 11.04 and 12.04. But no calls, sms and phone book.
You may buy another one!

iBall 3.5G Wireless Modem Data Card was'nt good for me,

*it showed problems while installing the drivers in windows 7 home premium
*also didn'nt supported my bsnl sim card

*Sim insertion/removal is very bad, you need to take very much care while insertion/removal of sim card
*its software has only single types of skin

it doesnt work properly with 2g but some how it is manageable with 3g.keep on reinserting the modam... overall you can (should)go for some other one. voice quality is very poor. do not make a costly mistake

I have brought it 1 month ago, but it's voice calling performance is very bad, it makes very noise sound at the time of voice calling.
Secondly, Most of time it's modem software failed to detect the modem, so repeated restart & reinsertion of modem is required.
Otherwise, it's ok.

NO SECOND THOUGHT SHOULD BE THERE I ORDERED IT AS A GUEST CAME IN JUST 2 DAYZ, VALUE FOR MONEY. NO COMPARE OF I BALL. I AM USING IT FULLY.

I am a.regular coustemer of Flipkart but now I am getting regretted for what I am did I just brought a MI power bank with 20000mah and I used for 3 months now it's not working when I called their coustemer executive they are not giving proper reply. Too bad.
