Q:can it use for filling small gap/ opening (7 to 8 inch) in house.
A:Yes easily, just need to hold the bottle inverted while using it leave a little gap while filling since the foam expands little bit.

Q:how far can it be used
A:Once it's open you can be used up to 3-4 hrs. If you want to place in ideal condition just cover the straw with tape.
