About Programme: Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS)
Eligibility:
To take the Admission in MLIS Programme Students must have following:
The programme is available to the candidates who have BLIS Degree or its equivalent from any recognised university and similar institutions.
Weightage will be given to the candidates having working experience in libraries, information centre or other related organisations.
Components Of the MLIS Programme:
The MLIS Programme comprises nine courses of which seven are Core and two are Elective Courses
(to be selected from 6 electives being offered now). The courses are as under:
