Only one compartment, separate section to keep shoes which makes a good base for the bag to stand still, side two pockets are major help in terms of carrying books,cash, water,food, front pocket is wide and spacious enough to carry toiletries. In terms of Space this bag holds 9 out of 10.

A:the bag is itself heavy.. no doubt in that.. but it doesn't have any rain cover. it's not waterproof.. but a good product

Q:how is it working now as people might use it for long time ?
A:It's good! Space is huge! Material quality is not as expected, but good. And the stitches aren't strong enough. There are 7 pockets. Re-stitching would be a wise option!
