Ranjana Sharma Prashar was born on April 14, 1979, on the day of Baisakhi, as the first child of her parents in Pathankot. Originally from Himachal Pradesh, Ranjana Sharma completed her schooling from various Kendriya Vidyalayas in North India. Ranjana, who has been fond of reading and teaching since childhood, enjoyed reciting poems. However, an incident at school diverted this passion from reading to writing, leading her to slowly build a collection of many poems and stories by writing down the thoughts that came to her mind. Through this book, "Incessant Heartdrops Volume 1" an effort has been made to present some of those poems. After completing her school education, she pursued higher education in Himachal Pradesh and continued her passion for writing poems and stories while serving as a teacher both in India and abroad. Her enthusiasm for writing poems and stories remains as fresh as ever, and she often creates poems and stories in moments. Some poems and stories make it to paper, while some get lost in the atmosphere after being spoken. Nevertheless, the journey of writing and reciting poems continues unabated and will persist until her last breath.
