Sumit Ganguly is an author, and Political Science Professor at Indiana University, Bloomington.
He has also authored Understanding Contemporary India, India Since 1980, and Asian Rivalries: Conflict, Escalation, And Limitations on Two-level Games.
Ganguly is also the Rabindranath Tagore Chair of Indian Civilizations and Cultures at Indiana University. He is the founding editor of Asian Security and India Review.
