It's time that this book be a part of the History Syllabus of Class 9 and 10.

We all know India as we have seen through the lenses of Nehru & Company...today my child who is in class 2 have not heard any of her teachers speaking about anyone else apart from 1. Nehru & then in the 2nd Position Gandhi Ji.

It's time that this book be a part of the History Syllabus of Class 9 and 10, the growing up years.

It's must read for every Indian...Netaji is just not the Hero of Bengal as is potryaed today! India would have been different if she was able to have the service of pop...

    Extremely valuable

This book provides insight into Bose's views and beliefs about the freedom struggle from 1920 onward. Written mostly in Badgestain,Austria, when Bose relied heavily on his memory due to the lack reference materials, this monumental work gives us glimpses of his political genius. This along with An Indian Pilgrim, his unfinished autobiography, are must-reads for anyone interested in the phenomena who was know as Netaji.

A real picture of Indian struggle

This book is an account of the freedom struggle of India during 1920-1942, written lucidly and adroitly avoiding all sorts of ambiguities. The best aspect of the book is to judge the role of Gandhiji in Indian freedom struggle. As mentioned by the author, Gandhiji was responsible to re-organise the Indian National Congress from a mere debating society to a revolutionary pa...

    Excellent Read

Anyone who is interested in reading the tale of India's struggle for independence must read this. The beautiful thing is that this book is among the very few texts available to readers written by Bose himself.

    Must read....

This is a must read book for those who have read about Neta ji previously as well as those who dont know about him. It is an experience beyond words to read Neta ji's views in his own words.
