Dr. Vidya Patil is serving as an Associate Professor of
English at Government First Grade Women's
College, Bidar. She has been actively involved in
teaching English language and literature since
twenty five years. She has published a book in
English titled “Paul Scott”.
She is a polyglot, knowing Kannada, English, Hindi and Marathi.
She has attended as well as organised various workshops and
seminars and presented papers in different national and
international seminars and conferences. She has recently been
awarded as the Best State Level E-content Creator in Arts and
Languages by the Department of collegiate Education,
Government of Karnataka. She is an active member of different
academic bodies and organizations such as the Indian Red Cross
Society, Rotary Club, Bharat Scouts and Guides, etc. In addition to
being an earnest academician, she is also a passionate advocate of
educational and social equality for women.
