To use the Herbal Henna Powder, pre-wash your hair with a mild shampoo. Create a honey-like paste by mixing the desired amount of henna powder with hot water. Apply the paste once it cools down, and for ideal results, you can keep it overnight. Leave it on for 40 to 45 minutes or 1 to 2 hours for darker shades. Then, rinse your hair thoroughly with water.
Avoid washing your hair with chlorine water, as it can cause coloured hair to turn green. Pre-wash your hair before applying the paste for ideal results. It may take 24 to 48 hours to achieve the desired shade. If you have extremely sensitive skin, you may experience itchiness after use. To colour your hair black with henna, use it mixed with Indigo powder.
