All forms of Yoga in general and Sri Aurobindo's integral Yoga in particular call for the formulation of a psychological standpoint with emphasis on a synthesis of the various aspects of experience. Part One of the book presents Sri Aurobindo's conception of man, with editorial explanations to show its position in comparison to modern scientific psychology.
