    If u loved em theory by griffiths, u will luv this more.

    This is my favorite book on quantum mechanics. I keep it with me at all times for quick reference.

    Problems are amazing too.

    You can get other books for more advanced stuff, but for the basics this is the best... and it gets to the point without much, often unnecessary ranting.

    Every student of physics ought to have one of these.

    Do the Problems......

    Griffiths' QM is a book that has been my personal favorite. It is extremely readable and friendly but there is one crucial factor that must be kept in mind- the exercise problems are ESSENTIAL. Without getting dirty and doing these problems, you'd not get the juice of QM. These problems will challenge not only your computational facilities but also your understanding.

    A very good introductory course

    This book is an excellent read for undergraduate students having a spark for the topic.Being one of the best first books to read on quantum, still it has some minor loopholes.At first ,the book is precisely centered to the world of quantum and nothing else(just as the author makes clear in the beginning of the book);secondly it is not a good self study book as it may not be able to develop enough interest for the student.
