Stunning black finish. Sturdy piece and comes with a drop guard that claims your HDD will survive a 7ft drop. Haven't tried that yet. Overall pretty cool, quite fast on USB 2.0 (Haven't tried out 3.0 yet). Comes with a 3 years warranty which has to be registered/activated online. Good buy!

IOmega products are as usual good. One can buy such HD's without any doubt. I am very happy with this product. I was little sceptical about it working on USB 2.0 But this product works on USB 2.0 zip zap zoom, don't need to even power it up with the extra USB connector provider.

About Flipkart -

Till now, I bought quite a few things from Flipkart -
AND they haven't disappointed. They have not left any space for me to complain. From ordering online to delivery, it's all again zip zap zoom....

Had ordered this in Nov 2011 and got it delivered within 30 hours.(thanks flipkart!) The product looks nice, not bulky. It comes with a encryption software and 2-3 additional data protection applications can be downloaded free from iomega website. The data cable is a Y-cable with 2 USB ends. The second one has been provided for additional power if the first one is not providing enough. Till date I never required the second one. Some users complain about the pre-occupied mount space. I did NOT purchase this product from Flipkart though.

1 GB movie was written in less than 20 seconds. Then I transferred 16 GB data to drive. It took 385 seconds, at about average 42.5 MB/s. Don't forget to plug-in both the USB end of Y-cable into two USB ports. The second USB port will power-up the drive further for better speed.
