  • Description

Isn’t It Obvious is a book that tells the tale of the business endeavors of Caroline and Paul, while highlighting certain key changes made by them, which made their family retail business a big success.

    Summary Of The Book

Isn’t It Obvious is a book that describes the business decisions made by the characters, Caroline and Paul. Caroline and Paul are married and watch over the family’s small retail business. However, certain situations crop up due to which the couple is compelled to introduce significant changes in the way they run their business. What follows is the sudden success of their business, when it becomes an international enterprise. The readers are then introduced to another important character, namely Henry.

Henry highlights an important point in the book when he declares that unless one deals with the core problem, one cannot expect to see significant results. The author makes sure to highlight his Theory of Constraints in this book, even though he does not reveal any key points to his readers directly. As the readers make their way through the book, they are able to unravel the secrets of this theory, which will be helpful to them in the world of retail.

Isn’t It Obvious is written on the lines of the author’s previous book, The Goal, which did wonders for those in the field of marketing. This book, however, deals in detail with retailing.
