Lance Armstrong's story is the stuff of legends. 'It's not about the bike' is a spectacular book describing the life of a man born with immense talent who had a tough childhood and was marred down by cancer but emerged as the greatest cyclist ever.

I picked up this book and couldn't put it down until I finished (I finished this book during my journey from New Delhi to Ahmedabad) . A great read, not about the bike, as the title states. The Tour de France experience !!!
I had absolutely no idea on whom Lance was except that he is a great cyclist with a Tour de France title in his belt. However, this one book in itself proved to be a Tour de France experience for me.
The way he opens his life, right from his childhood, to the first peaks in career, days in bed and finally a remarkable comeback back to life gives you nearly the same pleasures of riding up and down the French Alps.
"Never Quit"... that's the die hard attitude to take away.

Unlike many others I had read this book much before Yuvraj was diagnosed with cancer ... Lance's book is well written and is extremely uninhibited. He painstakingly takes us through the journey , and has left me emotionally drained after I finished the book ... Exceptional is too small a word!!!!
This book is not about lance Armstrongs feat in cycling or his illness, it's about the power of oneself and the power that the human spirit has... An exceptional book...
It starts from his early days, giving us an account of his entire life, including instances which people refrain from discussing...

The name says it all - MY JOURNEY BACK TO LIFE !!!
1)I got a Huge, Extraordinary, Inspiration from this LITTLE book.
2)The book has lucid language, nothing to worry about that.
3)Life is a game, you either PLAY or QUIT.but SON, YOU NEVER QUIT!
THIS IS THE MOST INSPIRATIONAL AND MOTIVATIONAL SENTENCE through out the book.
