He has also spoken on several occasions at JavaOne on Java Performance. He has also written: NetBeans™ IDE Field Guide.

Binu John works at Ning, Inc. as a senior performance engineer, working on improving the performance and scalability of the Ning platform to support millions of page views per month. He also worked on Java-related performance issues at Sun Microsystems and on Sun’s Enterprise Java Performance team. He has helped develop industry standard benchmarks such as SPECjms2007 and SPECJAppServer2010, and has been pivotal in java.net’s XMLTest and WSTest benchmark projects.
