Jiva Oil Pulling is a blend of natural oils and herbs formulated for your complete oral care and hygiene. It does not contain alcohol. It is based on a practice defined in Ayurvedic scriptures as 'Kavala-Gandusha Therapy'. Kavala is a procedure of taking a small quantity of oil in the mouth and revolving it around for 2-3 minutes and spitting it out quickly. Whereas filling the mouth with oil and holding it for a few minutes without moving it inside the oral cavity is called Gandusha. With this practice, you may start sweating slightly as a sign of toxins getting released from the body. You may also experience watery eyes and some discharge from the nose as a sign of your mouth and throat getting cleansed. When practiced regularly, oil pulling strengthens teeth and gums and helps prevent tooth decay, bad breath, gum bleeding, dryness of the throat and cracked lips.
