Joker  (English, Hardcover, Azzarello Brian)

The Joker is a tale of the name character from the DC Comics series of Batman. It is a unique take on the character of the Joker as narrated by one of his henchmen. Joker has managed to make an escape from the Arkham Asylum. Coming to see that most of what was his in the city of Gotham, including the ‘Grin and Bare It’ strip bar, has fallen in the hands of other owners, Joker decides to embark on an adventure that would leave the city in a mayhem. In the process, he communicates and gets in touch with The Penguin, The Riddler, Two-Face, Killer Croc, and others. The story progresses with how the Joker creates a master plan which turns allies into enemies and completes with a final face-off with Batman.

Brian Azzarello is an American writer of comic books. Azzarello is chiefly known for writing hardboiled crime stories and he became popular with the first crime series 100 Bullets. Apart from this, his other noteworthy works include Hellblazer, Filthy Rich, Broken City, Batman/Deathblow: After the Fire, and For Tomorrow from the Superman series.
