Based on a novel by Rudyard Kipling and directed by Steve Trenbirth, The Jungle Book 2 is an animated adventure-family film that serves as a sequel to the 1967 film The Jungle Book. The Jungle Book 2 stars the voice talents of Academy Award-nominee Haley Joel Osment of The Sixth Sense fame, Golden Globe Award-winner John Goodman, Mae Whitman and Bob Joles. This enchanting tale follows Mowgli, a boy who was raised by a pack of wolves. Having returned to human civilization, Mowgli begins to miss his animal friends who dwell in the jungle, hence, he makes his way back to the heart of the forest, leaving his girlfriend Shanti behind. However, once Mowgli is back in his element, he is confronted by his old nemesis, Shere Khan.
