She has a natural flair for languages and is proficient in many. She developed a special love for the English language early in life, having been influenced by her father, who was a lawyer and author of several books. Her love for books is shared by her husband, Dr. Gopalakrishna. The trials and tribulations faced by her numerous patients, as perceived during her long years in medical practice gave her an opportunity for close interaction with life in its various hues. She was married into a large family, being thereby exposed to different kinds of life experiences at different stages in life. Her rich experience comes across in her writings and the reader will find her stories positively.
