This work of poetry, "Kalyani", is a beautiful fictional story told in the form of poetry. Although fictional, it is written in the style of an epic poem. It is the journey of infatuation to true unconditional love and of desire to duty. The struggles and choices of the three main characters define the trajectory of their lives, their joy and their sorrow. And their journey in turn, transports the reader to a blissful world of love, serenity, and fulfillment while at the same time, sharing with them the age-old wisdom humanity seems to have forgotten.
