Written for children of age 5 to 16, the entire Shri Ram Katha is divided into six parts. 'Kan Kan Main Baste Shree Ram' is the second part of this series. Other Five parts are: 1. Uddhaar Kare Shri Ram 'Kan Kan Main Baste Shree Ram' begins when King Dasharatha was preparing for the coronation of Lord Shri Ram, but according to the promise given to Kaikeyi, he has to obey Kaikeyi and eventually Lord Shri Ram, Sita and Lakshmana together they leave for exile. Dasaratha gives up his life after suffering this separation. During the exile, Kevat help Shri Ram to cross the River Ganga. The Kol Bhils help him during his residence in Chitrakoot. Bharat, saddened by the separation of the Lord, comes to Chitrakoot to meet Lord Shri Ram. In the end, Bharat returns from Chitrakoot and renounces his throne and establishes the foot-paduka of Lord Shri Ram there. So read 'Kan Kan Main Baste Shree Ram' and say loudly Jai Shri Ram………
