Lalit Kumar was born on 6 September 1994 in Sikandra Rao (Uttar Pradesh). The author gained lot of experience from the society that He came into contact with. He started learning about the society when He started studying in Mujammil Islamia Inter College Sikandra Rao (Hathras). He says that he properly understood the pace at which changes occur in the society after he joined the Aligarh Muslim University, in 2012. It was this environment that made him contemplate about society and its norms. The author claims that he is not a writer, but the gravity of the issue of female feticide touched his heart in such a way that he could not ignore it, so he decided to write about it.
