"I have been using this over the past 3 days. Here is my review.
Pros:
1. Overall Configuration is great.
2. First tab in the world to be boxed with a Jellybean.
3. It supports Google Play Store.
4. Internal space of around 1.5Gb is dedicated for downloads from play store.
Also around 800 Mb of it is like user space.
5. Charges pretty fast around 2 hours max for a huge 4500mAh battery. Also battery lasts long around 6+ hours till now.

AMAZING 4 THE PRICE
I bought this tab the next day of its release which was 31st December from other site on 1st Jan . I was just surfing for new tablets and phones and as soon as I found this, I was simply amazed by its specs.... The dual core a9 processor, the 1 gb ram, 8 inch screen with 1024*768 resolution and the list went on.. As I already own a Atrix HD I did not need this for calling.... Now after around 3 weeks of rigorous usage I am writing this review.... It's score on AnTuTu is higher even than SGS2 ...

A Fantastic Budget Tab !!!
We will see more such tablets from companies like micromax and boynd.....
The competition in section will get hotter....
A good dualcore tab from karbonn with a GIG of ram manages all the multitasking needs where as the quad core GPU takes care of our gaming needs.
The first thing is the screen, u get a fabulous screen for this price...Definitely worth the money
The touch is very snappy and i have noticed no lag at all while using this tablet

Nice Budger tab
The first thing I look for before buying any android product is XDA support. This tab has it and I bought it immediately. I bought it from a different site as its out of stock here I bought it from a different site.

It's awesome.
It has Max advantages when compared to the only disadvantage.
Yes.the touch response is the only con which is not upto the mark.
it's not worse,its pretty much usable. N the most happy fact is that I have a solution to the problem. Connect a mouse through the supplied otg cable to the tab.

i am sure it is a great product... i would really like to buy it if i could know its pixel density and its GPU... the only con i could find in this tablet is its internal memory.. its only 1.5gb... you see they could have make it better.. u cannot play games like NOVA on this tablet since it takes more than 1.5gb of memory to install....

Well I actually have bought Karbonn Smart Tab 10 and not this one but still as the tabs are identical apart from the display size I felt I should review to help others.
The touch,display and the internal memory seem to be the cons of Karbonn Smart Tab 8. But the display and touch is rather good in Smart Tab 10. So I'd rather let you guys know about the pros of these two tabs Velox and Cosmic.

Siri works! Bluettoh works, USB works. Only problem dongle

1. Google voice search answers back in female voice like siri. Just change language to 'Indian English'. Tried 'Weather in Chennai', Will it rain tomorrow', 'what is speed of sound' etc. The voice typing too is amazing once it is set to Indian English.(Did not try offline typing as it involved downloading 22 MB file)
2. USB- tried connecting 4GB usb drive- works .Bluetooth works flawlessly with mobiles -just ensure ST8 Bluetooth is set to 'visible to all'
