This is a Sliding Adjustable Linear Potentiometer with a 10k ohm value. A linear potentiometer is a variable resistor with a handle that may be moved linearly from one end to the other to change the resistance. The sliding potentiometer has two ends, which means that while the handle is at one end, the resistance is 0 ohms, and when the handle is moved to the other end, the resistance changes to 10K. It is often used in dimming tuning, volume controls on audio equipment. A B & C indicates the tapered pattern of resistive material, the variation in resistance value is caused by the movement of the wiper. A10K = 10K total resistance between the ends, and the resistance is distributed nonlinearly (Logarithmic). B10K = 10K total, but with the resistance distributed linearly. C10K = 10k total resistance, but with resistance distributed in an anti-log manner.
