A crime-drama thriller film, Khuda Kay Liye stars 4-time National Film Award-winner Shaan, Padma Bhushan-awardee Naseeruddin Shah, Fawad Afzal Khan, Iman Ali and Shoaib Mansoor. This awe-inspiring film is centred around two Pakistani brothers, Sarmad and Mansoor, both of whom are musicians. While Sarmad becomes an extremist and joins a terrorist group, Mansoor goes to Chicago to pursue his studies in music. Also important to the plot is Mary/Miriam, a young lady who is forced to marry Sarmad by her father because she wishes to tie the knot with a Britisher. Once the horrific 9/11 incident occurs, all their lives take a turn for the worse.
