Summary of the Book

Before the Maze, before WICKED, before the Glade, the Earth was ravaged by sun flares. Mankind was nearly destroyed by disease. Only a few survivors remained. Mark and Trina were among them, but little did they know that the flares were only the beginning. The United States is brought to its knees by a disease of rage and lunacy. The disease is strange, it seems to be mutating into something worse. Mark and Trina believe there is still some hope for humanity, but they do not have much time.
