  • Description

Read this book to know your favourite Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan better. The book takes you to a whole different world that is Bollywood; very different from how the common man knows it.

    Summary of the Book

Learn about the life and struggle of Shah Rukh Khan in a movie industry which favours only the famous film families and is at times funded with black money. His tale takes us into how he achieved stardom in the mysterious and colorful world of Bollywood, and how as a Muslim in a Hindu majority nation, he had to somehow climb up and be liked by the Indian moviegoers, especially the youth. The book talks about the actor tearing up when his production house did not do well, and how he was scared when dealing with the Mafia. This book will certainly make you see Shah Rukh Khan in a different light rather than the big star that he is today.

Read this book for less than Rs 300

Chapter 14, Mobsters and Movies is a delight. I know the sound of serious ransom-seekers being funny is not everyone's appetite but these pages are by far the best in the 2-inch think Shah Rukh tell-tale.
Anupama Chopra tells what she can with the access she has, to people and places. Decent read for a stopover on a long-haul flight.

    Must-read

Much better than Shah Rukh Can. It is written in great style and more importantly, you are shown the world from Shahrukh's view. It is a peek into the mind of a genius who became the world's biggest movie star from a nobody. Anyone interested in Bollywood ought to grab this one!
