It absolutely DOES smudge. It's waterproof and hard to get off, but if your eyes water it smudges. I don't recommend this if you're using contacts like I am. The kajal gets in your eyes and on your contacts, gets your eyes all watery and you end up looking like a panda. This happens with most eye makeup of course but this one gave me...
