LAMY Safari 17F Fine Nib (Blue Ink) Fountain Pen  (Ink Color - Black)

I bought a fine nib pen which in the beginning feels scratchy while writing, it is not as smooth as a pilot metropoliton medium nib while the width of the line is almost similar in both the cases. But as u go on writing with it, it does get smooth according to the writer. The medium of Lamy becomes too broad to write with if you have a small handwriting while the fine is on the right width of line but doesn't feel smooth. Here pilot becomes the clear winner.

I am pretty confused about what rating to give this. The nib apparently is too fine for ink to flow. I cleaned it with every possible detergent and what not. Lamy fine nibs usually have this issue it seems. I anyway had to get it cleaned by a pro. But once it got working.. man, the pen is heaven to write with. :)
So expect initial glitches.

Very smooth writing but does not worth this much amount of money.
