Positive Points of Lava Z1:-
1. Old look ; which I like very much.
2. Compact phone.
3. This device comes with stock android. So there is no problem in perfomense. Still now I have not noticed any hanging issu.
4. Corning gorilla glass and free case.
5. Speaker is really loud.

Negative Points of Lava Z1:-
1. 480P display. So that battery is draing quiet fast, compare to 720P display.
2. 5W charger. I have charged my battery from 20%-85% in 2 hours.

It's a gorilla glass screen but after using for some days, it has a lot of scratch on the screen. Battery (using 2 sims) is low, you need to charge twice. While watching videos, speaker volume is good. Camera is OK. I like its compact size which fits well in the palm. It's military grade certification phone but after falling only 1 time, its back cover has dents. Lava Z1 has issue with Battery and display. Performance is barely good. Though RAM is 2GB, it does seems to be when you use the phone. Also to add, camera quality is poor, pictures are blurry. Pakaging inside the case was torn. Please don't go for this phone. I have returned it.
