My First Phonics Flashcards set is a fun and interactive way for children to learn about alphabets and their phonics sounds, an important foundational skill for language development.
Each card features a large-sized colourful alphabet and six phonetically correct words starting with that alphabet. The card has colourful illustrations for these words. We have also added the phonics sound in Hindi.
The large size of the flashcards makes it easier to finger- trace, and Hindi sound makes it easier to guide the child with the correct sound.
My First Phonics Flashcards make a great learning resource to teach the concept of phonics and alphabets to
the children
The flashcards can be used in a variety of ways to make the learning more fun:
1. Identify the alphabet and enunciate their phonics sounds.
2. Encourage your child to finger- trace the letters using index finger. Doing this regularly will make it a part of the child's muscle memory
3. Use the cards for vocabulary building, as you can teach 156 words to your child using this set
BONUS ACTIVITIES
1. Play 'Word game' with the family. Pick a card at random, and take turns to tell a word that starts with the alphabet mentioned on the card. The player who tells more words wins the point.
2. In each flashcard, one object is not coloured and can be coloured by your child. Please use sketch pens to colour it. This way, the cards will be reusable and can be used again and again.
