Please remember that this is a entry-level model and not a performance monster.
Things are definitely on the slower side.
HDD is only 5400 rpm. SSD upgrade would be a great idea.
Battery:
There is a slider selection to choose in-between "Best battery life" and "Best performance"
Depending on your selection, estimated backup time is displayed, which is not reliable.
I put the slider at "Best performance" and got around 2.5 hours of actual usage tim...

Good choice
Every Other Feature on the Laptop is Very Good for Daily usage (Except Gaming PS - This is not meant for Gaming ) Besides that Battery Backup is only 2-3 hours which is the only drawback seen Over using for a week . No Other issues were observed preloaded MS Office is a good touch for students which is the latest 2019 version
