I am the Person using CRT in this era..
But this any cast full filled my dream of screen mirroring on my 20 yrs old CRT sharp TV..
Now I can watch images,videos on tv..
(I needed to buy HDMI to AV converter in order to connect any cast with CRT @550)
Now I can watch videos on YouTube
But most of the Apps now not support screen mirroring..
e.g. jio tv,Hotstar, voot..
But still a buy call.. For happiness of watching

A:if your VU TV. has a HDMI output it will work on it. the usb part of the dongle is only for powering it. which can be done directly from the TV or via a external power supply.
