This is an excellent product. Sturdy, Stable and Fast. At this throw-away price, it is definitely a choice for anyone looking for an internal DVD drive.

Good One
Never used a LiteOn before and heard it to be good a option in optical drive. My earlier optical drive (Asus) was 8x DVD-R. Even though sporadic requirements, I needed a newer optical drive while upgrading my PC. I am satisfied after testing it and feel it is worth the money spent.
For the first time I did not like the packaging of flipkart.

Product is OEM version and hence does not come with a fancy box packing. Just a simple plastic cover in a regular cardboard box. Flipkart has packed the whole thing within another box which I felt was adequate.
Device works as expected, no complaints at all.
There's really very little to choose between LG, Samsung, ASUS and Liteon. All 4 brands are reputed and priced similarly. I got this as I has a LiteOn drive in my earlier build and was very satisfied with the drive, felt no reason to cha...

The DVD writer performs exceptionally well.
Made 108 CD's with this for my farewell seniours.
The writing speed is exceptionally well as well as the running speed.
Bought this for pairing with my new Custom PC.

1. Product received with poor packaging but on time.
2. Drive is good and works as expected.
3. The information mentioned regarding the product is incomplete and inadequate.
4. The drive is labeled as iHAS124 but it should be 'iHas124 DU'.
5. The picture of the drive have lightscribe logo on front panel but this drive does not support lightscribe technology.
6.The buffer size is mentioned as 2MB but this drive have 1MB buffer.
7. Drive is really great....

Good Drive !! But it is not what you pay for !!
First of all i purchased this a while back & i usually write a lot of dvds and at that front this drive has no problems. I have always bought Lite-On products from my first X16 Dvd-reader to this and it has always delivered for me....
Pros:
1. The drive does what it is supposed to.Writes & reads media just fine
2. Have no lags while playing movies or songs from the drive
3. You get what you pay for !!
Now for the nasty stuff:
1. Flipkart says this drive is iHAS124 but what you 'iHas124 DU' ...

good drive
best ihas drive for burning xbox 360 games,as it takes less time in burning n if u get error while verifying just click on CANCEL n ur ready 2 play but burnermax payload tool should be enabled, burnt gow:judgement n works like charm!
cons: for burning FIFA 13 n FORZA4 u need modded ihas drive! i tried 2 burn forza also but no success with this drive n payload tool enabled
