"Nasterco means a lot to me. I thought I would never be able to complete this book and hold it in my hands and see my name on it. Well, Nasterco is my pen name. My real name is Samvida Aggarwal and I am currently 19 years old. I know I have a whole journey ahead and by publishing this book I mark a milestone there. Thanks to my family for giving me the space I wanted and letting me write. Thanks to all those artists who made such incredible songs that gave me the comfort I needed to write all these poems. The truth is I never wanted to fall in love in the first place. It just happened and it happened with such great intensity that I had to let it out on these pages in order to keep myself sane. I might still be very young to understand what relationships are really about but I sure do understand what it means to be in love! And I am sure this book will hit a lot of memories because, to be honest, it is solely a compilation of all those memories presented to you in a just and beautiful way. Being in love that is too one-sided is not easy. You have to love without having any expectations and in fact, you are not even supposed to call it love, it is just a crush right? A passing phase… Well, thanks to V for being there, for being born lol because if he would have not been there then I would still be stumbling upon the idea of what love is? Thanks to Siru for everything, really! He may not know but he made me realize how it feels to not be able to love the other person the way they want us to. Thanks to each and every one of my friends for being there, always and forever, listening to me and my same old stories again and again. I know we are not perfect and the way we show this love may not be always perfect or enough for the other person but you know the most important step here is to let yourself feel that love, to accept it, and to know that you’re gonna do stupidest of stupid things now that you are in love. Just like me, publishing this book. Lol. So go ahead and give it a read!"
