About the Authors

Dr. Sarfaraz K. Niazi is the son of the famous author and critic, Niaz Fatehpuri. He has been teaching for over thirty years and is the author of several books, texts and articles on philosophical, scientific, and literary subjects. He currently lives in Illinois.

Dr. Farman Fatehpuri is an Urdu scholar and the author of several books. He has edited a comprehensive work on Ghalib. He currently lives in Pakistan.

Syed Sadequain Ahmed Naqvi is a celebrated artist and an admirer of Ghalib, having created about twenty works interpreting Ghalib’s verses. Sadequain’s distinctive style of abstract presentation and mastery of the calligraphy of Quranic verses have gained critical acclaim.
