This set is for cold climate. I'm buying it for my trek and would not suggest it for normal winter. Fabric is thick and warm. It feels like wearing a light sweater so if you are planning to buy for wearing it on daytime in winter of 0-5°C, its good otherwise you would be sweating in daytime in these in normal winter.
